BUILD NIGERIA 2026
FOCUS Build Nigeria 2026 is a six-week student hardware competition challenging Nigerian tertiary students to build a working hardware product that solves a real problem. Participants will work in teams, develop their products and document their progress throughout the competition.
Focus Areas: Off-Grid Power, Embedded Systems / IoT, Smart Agriculture, Mechanical / 3D Fabrication, Open Hardware
ELIGIBILITY
- Students currently enrolled in Nigerian tertiary institutions
- Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education
- Teams of 1–4 students
- Degree, ND, HND or NCE students are eligible
- Final-year projects can also be submitted

REQUIREMENTS
- Must be a Nigerian tertiary student (or team)
- Build a working hardware product
- Document your progress during the 6-week competition
- Project must address a real problem in one of the focus areas
- Final-year project submission is allowed
